That relies on being in Government though. The only way the Greens could guarantee to stop it is repeal it, or possibly pass a motion, though that's still not binding on the Government

And that relies really on a government that wants it passing.

Most of the time you don't need one, between sympathetic individuals outside of government and people missing votes.

Surely TSR Government legislation would supersede RL Government legislation. No parties have pledged to academisation so one would assume they'd carry out their own education policy instead

    Posted from TSR Mobile
There are circumstances where academies are forced without a school failing at present, so legislation is appropriate without the RL govt plans.

Hmmm, a cannon......that would be a good addition to my gulag. I'll have to add nationalising a museum to my to do list

You are a major reason behind my shift in views with another reason being my clearer understanding of how bad the Tories are in real life.

    #Bedroom Tax
I am glad we removed this under the last TSR Parliament. Now we should make sure those with large houses pay a little more towards local services, especially those who are overseas investors. Adding extra council tax bands is the simplest and most practical way to do so, which is a policy in the Green Manifesto.

    Hear hear.

While we're on housing, I'd personally like to see much tighter restrictions being brought in on second homes. It's not fair that people are being priced out of their traditional, close-knit communities by people who don't even live there for half of the year.

This is in the socialist manifesto.
