If I had them I would be thinking I'll be lucky to get an offer. But your GCSEs are good...

You doing OCR Biology?

You would rather get rejected now than wait for a little bit with a chance of getting an offer?

I know I may sound like an ass, but yes. They're not going to be my firm and couldn't be my insurance.

Are you worried that because you haven't done A Level Accounting it might act as a little disadvantage at uni.

Why don't withdraw it then instead of potentially depriving others of a place.

Because of the minute chance they give me a slightly easier offer than Cambridge have, allowing them to be my insurance. This is all very unlikely though; I probably won't even get an offer :p: (only 5A*s).

For economics I would pick LSE over Cambridge any day.

I'd say their departments are on a par. It really comes down to personal preferences, e.g. I prefer the supervision system at Cambridge and I wouldn't like student life in London.

Fair point in but terms of graduate prospects and international recognition I'll say LSE. But obviously if you don't like the student life then fair play. By the way what don't you like about the student life?

I'm sure this has probably been discussed at great length elsewhere, but can someone please summarise the importance of GCSEs in the application process?
Mine were shoddy to say the least, 5 A's, 6 B's and a C...

As long as you have a good set of A Levels AAA/AAB with a good personal statement, you should be alright
