You mean free???
If you want it free I'm sure there are places that will load it with viruses and let you get it via methods not condoned on this site.

I know, I hate paying for computer software but I don't agree with piracy.

I love democracy three. On my best game thus far I've got through five terms.

And on most recent election I got 99pcnt of the vote

Though it gets boring when you keep on winning.

Also, lols at 20 pound. I got it when it was on sale last Xmas, no idea hm but it wasn't even a tenner iirc

When on sale it will probably be at least 80% off, maybe 90%.

I remember getting 100% once, to be fair though I did set the country up in such a way to do so.

£2.... Maybe it's worth it... Depends how realistic it is.

Tbh the major flaw with the game is that it is incredibly easy to please almost everyone which is incredibly unrealistic.

I believe there's an add on 'extremeism' or something, which makes it all harder.

Which, would you ****ing believe it, costs more money!

It's not too simplistic at all, it's rather on the money as that's what happened.
I don't think it is right to compare personal/household debt to sovereign debt.

Democracy 2 was used in schools and 3, particularly with mods, improves on 2. Realistic enough?

I once used it to confirm my right-wing slightly authoritarian and socially conservative policies were the best and swiftly won the game.
Eh, I usually use it to create a socialist utopia, which also swiftly wins. Need to get extremism and crank up the difficulty for policies to not work.

I've enjoyed having a crack with the authoritarian mods this morning, although there's some weird policies in there: light bulb ban, age purge... You could create North Korea if you fancy, particularly with the electoral fraud policies.

I guess, creating the perfect communist society would be good...

With the right starting settings (or country if you don't want to cheat too much) it shouldn't be too hard. Good luck doing it in the US though, and I would be inclined to say UK too, although that would be much easier given the infinite terms

I've never played it; does anyone here play EU3 (my integrated graphics die when I try to play4). If not, I thoroughly recommend it.

So you would try to turn the US communist in 16 turns without being assassinated and without turning political capital off?
You should record it and put it on YouTube if you succeed

Why does my popularity increase in spite of the fact I got our credit rating downgraded twice and unemployment has got worse.

I think it's cause I reduced alcohol age to 16, all those youths love me

Physical money last time I checked is only £60bn according to the Bank of England...

debt but owed to ourselves? I get the concept that bank notes aren't money but they are promissory notes so basically handing over debt, that hardly makes any sense though... And if debt matters so little why try and ballence the books?
i am? And if we don't grow enough?
Well if we don't grow enough then in several decades we get even harsher austerity or we're screwed but it's more likely that by the time we die, state pensions won't exist.

Right now though, people are too paranoid.
