    Heskey and Crouch.

They may as well admit it now, and show all the eggs in one basket ffs... Only need Rooney as a striker ffs.

Still, this squad is a joke. Adam Johnson should've had a chance, really.

What I like is the fact other England managers were heckled for trying to shoe horn in the best eleven players with a complete disregard for the team as a unit. Now we have a manager who understands how the team works together, and now people are calling for the best individuals to get picked again rather than what works for the team :facepalm2:

    Simply astounding.

We won't even play Portugal at all this World Cup.

Either way, Brazil/Netherlands semi :yep: Just remember Euro 96 if we get the latter.

If we even get past the group stage, let alone the second round and quarter finals D:

1311: We can confirm that Theo Walcott has been omitted by Fabio Capello. Meanwhile the plot thickens below as the Northern Echo suggest Manchester City winger Adam Johnson is not in the squad either, while NOTW's Neil Ashton is now saying Shaun Wright-Phillips has made the final 23.

    Walcott out :woo:

Bent really should be in ahead of Heskey. How many target men do we need

I would also prefer Johnson over SWP.

At least Ian Wright will have something to talk about at half time... :p:

I'm pleased with the squad, especially Walcott being dropped and Barry making it, and I think Carrick has a lot to offer too. I wish Bent was going instead of Heskey, but you can't win 'em all...

e: is Carra going? Where is the full squad listing, or don't we have it yet?

I disagree with Walcott being left out, but it's somewhat ridiculous if Johnson isnt included as a result
