The US Open (Tennis) is on the 29th of August.
Damn Americans. I made enough fuss about the World Cup interfering with Doctor Who, and I make it a rule to boycott Eurovision cos they used to always get rid of Doctor Who for that. Which is highly ridiculous. Although me not watching makes no difference, so oh well.

Sounds like a good line up really. Especially Toby Whithouse. Being Human, yay!!!!

I get too excited by scriptwriters. I had an agonising conversation with my friend, who, after me spending ages before series 5 raving about how excited I was that Moffat was writing the scripts, asked me who Steven Moffat was.
Yeah, decent writers in there. Whithouse wrote some episode of Doctor Who before, that K9 one. The slightly above average one.

No surprise there, it has bat-like things. Bats are like vampires. He always does stuff like that. Vampires in Venice was his, and Tooth and Claw, which was awesome. Much better werewolf in that than in Being Human, and Harry Potter.

Also, I love your sig. Saved it onto my computer cos it's just so awesome.

Really? I read somewhere it was Toby Whithouse, I'm sure of it. Or maybe it was the ghost episode I was thinking of...think I mixed up School Reunion and Tooth and Claw in my head. Ah well, still a good episode.

"Let's not go there."

I keep worrying that my phone will dematerialise  Guess it's my own stupid fault for putting the Tardis noise as the notification noise :p: Good part though is that now, if my phone goes off while I'm alseep, it might be influencing my dreams. Past two nights have had Tardis dreams :awesome:

Plus, it was either have the Tardis noise, or

:awesome:

(And besides, my phone probably can't dematerialise anyway. The brakes have been left on )

Just read this: http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2011/0...medium=twitter

It's Neil Gaiman's blog with a Q&A about The Doctor's Wife, worth a read.

Allow me to give a reminder to everyone; above all else this is primarily a thread for discussing Doctor Who. Profuse spamming that detracts away from that will be removed and warned.

I see what you've done there...

And I wish Doctor Who was on tomorrow, got nothing to do.

No, it's so Doctor Who is on all round the year, kind of. It's also a reason so they can get better viewership as they have two finales and two openers as statisticly, more people watch finales and openers to a series than anything else.

I know. The whole point of a Christmas special was to bridge the gap between series, now it's just useless.

Father's Day is a great episode. Not to mention they used to have great titles.
