Dare say it's been done before, but http://apps.facebook.com/qmwhichdoctorwdeyg/

Sixth. I particularly enjoyed the comment, "You are brilliant, and you know it" :teeth:

A friend told me its because Moffat's going off to write a version of Tintin
Moffat is not writing Tintin. He was, but then he got asked to do Doctor Who and so stopped.

Moffat wrote Tintin. It was redrafted by Wright and Cornish.

He was going to write more than one, I believe. He wrote a first draft and that was it of the first movie and that was it.

Yeah, two Tintin films have been scheduled. No idea whether Moffat was asked to write the second.

He's already behind as it is anyway :teehee:

Has anyone else noted that the character profile of the Doctor on the Doctor Who website says:

Home Planet: Unknown
First Appearance: Unknown
Last Appearance: Unknown

I noticed this because on the front page of the BBC Doctor Who website it says that his profiles been updated, wondering if this has any significance ;D

What I really want is an alarm clock that sounds like the TARDIS

I just watched the final scene before the 10th Doctor regenerates when he goes to farewell all his old friends.. man I wish we could have an appearance from some of them :/

You really feel part of it like when she talks to the woman doing that book signing about when John Smith fell in love with that girl :x Brilliant writing that.

What do you mean? That 'girl' was the grand-daughter, or great-grand daughter of the person who she, the actress, plays in 'Human Nature' and 'Family of Blood'.

If you use your phone as an alarm, and can set the alarm tone, I could send you the mp3 I'm using.

I have just realised who Matt Smith reminds me of in terms of appearance, speech, mannerisms etc.

How it has taken me one and a half series to notice this i do not know.

I noticed that and thought, first and last appearence could be fair enough but home planet was known so why the unknown?

It's a glitch.
It's been like that a while. Silly Dr Who web-site designers/admin.

----------------------
I wonder if there is more to:

'Demon's run, when a good man goes to war,
night will fall and drown the sun,
when a good man goes to war,
friendship dies and true love lies,
night will fall and the dark will rise,
when a good man goes to war'

It's a quote from the episode - It's an old legend to do with Demon's Run, I believe. And I read it as "Demons run", not "Demon's Run" at the start of the poem, which is a small but crucial difference.

I wonder if 'lies' is the deceit kind or the horizontal kind as either could work :holmes:

It's a poem from the episode. I'm taking 'friendship dies' to mean the Doctor and Amy's friendship. Does 'true love lies' refer to River and the Doctor?

I took it to mean the friendship between the Doctor and River - given she's the weapon and all...

There were two more lines in the actual episode:

Demons run, but count the cost:
The battle is won, but the child is lost
