He'll go missing against Liverpool next week. Quote me on it.

He played very well today but he's turned up against the midtable sides before.

what a surprise
Ozil played quite well, he hardly went missing

Giroud played well. as did ozil..

Barely noticed him.
****ing Ludicrous. Why would you put a player like walcott on with 15 mins to go and when you know the opp team is gonna sit back. We should have started with Walcott and given him more time to make an impact. Giroud should have come on as a sub when their team sits back so we have something to cross the ball to.

Giroud is played in matches where there is loads of space and then Walcott is played when there is no space. Is Wenger on crack? he's setting up the players to fail.

But did you win?
You didn't even watch the game, @sr90. Expected better from you.

Gabriel played pretty well tbh, considering he had to play cb in two positions.
SR90 is an awful poster in general

Good lad but awful FF poster
I'm not part of the Wenger-out team by any means, but he really needs to re-consider his tactics mid game. What possible reason is there for taking Giroud off with 20 minutes to go just as we were building up pressure? Liverpool would have obviously taken a point before the game started, so it's pretty clear that they would protect the scoreline at 0-0 with a quarter of the game left and hit us on the counter. Makes no sense to bring on Walcott who poses zero aerial threat against an already retreating Liverpool backline and who just isn't smart enough as a striker to fashion chances against good teams. And that's exactly what happened. All of our chances came when when Giroud was still on the pitch; literally nothing happened once Walcott came on. Just because Giroud missed a good chance doesn't mean you take him off; he'll bury one of those eventually if given enough chances. If we brought on Walcott for Ramsey or Ozil, it would have opened up the game more with some much needed width on the right (aside from Bellerin there was NO width whatsoever on the right until Ox came on - all of our attacks came from the left). And it would have allowed us to resort to launching it up into the box for Giroud to knock down if all else failed. Shocking tactics.

Another disappointing game. Not a good start to the season. Already 5 points behind City, and we're short on a competent CB, a WC striker and some backup for Coquelin at least.

At least our defense improved massively in the second half, and Cech was outstanding. Hopefully this will be confidence boost he needs to start performing at his best again. We'll need it.

If you didn't pay the ****ing linesman we would, 2 games in a row you've benefited from dreadful referees
When Giroud came off we lost alot of traction upfront, nothing was sticking. Theo couldn't hold up the ball or win any aerial duels. We need Welbeck back urgently. Ox should have brought on earlier really. Gabby did well. Chambers reminds Djourou tbh

oh leave it yeah???.................. walcott was useless because he was always gonna be useless in a game like this. inb4 runs behind the defence or some dumb generic bull****.

Giroud and Walcott should have both been on though at the end with Sanchez coming off
Let's look at the positives, Gabriel was superb today despite having a trainwreck at CB with him, very promising from him and he could definitely usurp Mert. Cech phenomenal as well.

CDM and St needed, simple as, coq again tried his luck, only a matter of time before he is sent off

What is Welbeck gonna do?

We need to buy a forward. It's blindingly obvious.

Agree with this 100%
Christ you guys are cringeworthy. With the attacking players at your disposal, Rodgers awful away record in big games, plus them playing 3 teenagers, including an 18 Year-old on his debut and the three or four good chances and some of you celebrate the fact you didn't concede as a win? Atrocious fanbase really.

Thing that pissed me off was the prawn sandwich brigade at Ashburton Grove sarcastically cheering a Liverpool shot in the first half that went over, when they were all over you and Arsenal couldn't string three passes together.

Walcott gets top money and He's not even a starter. Lol what's the point.
