Top tip: If note-taking in lectures, don't write down information already on the presentation, PowerPoint etc. Instead, write down important things said by the lecturer. You can view slides again, however things said by the lecturer will more often than not only be said once.

revision tip: make sure that where you're revising is tidy, organised and well lit. lighting can honestly put you in the perfect setting for revision and studying. if the room is too dark it can make it harder for you to concentrate and may make you drowsy, so make sure it's bright enough for you to focus . Also, avoid revising on your bed as the bed is a place for rest so when you do stop revising and put your head down to sleep it'll be difficult to as your brain will associate the bed as a place to focus and learn instead of shutting off, relaxing and sleeping.

note taking tip: Don't rush them, make them pretty, use colours or doodle. Or if you are not artistic make it neat and minimalist. Take pride in your notes and you will learn more from them. You will also be more likely to look over them again. Don't just copy word for word, summarise and evaluate the idea's you are studying. Draw a little stickman with a thought bubble and keep track on your thought processes as you work.

Note-taking tip: Use the specification. This would make sure that you are taking the right amount of notes. Nobody wants a bare exercise book without any notes, or another text book. This should help to make you more efficient

    Note taking tips:
-Create your own questions for key points and build your own model answers around them from the textbooks info. These come in really handy durind revision.
    - Don't overdo it, don't aimlessly copy everything down. Think about what you don't know and what you need to remember and rephrase things in a way YOU will understand them when you go back over them.
