# AQA A2 Mathematics Pure Core 4 MPC4 - 17th June 2016 Watch

I managed to store some of my answers in my calculator (Stats mode is great!), besides the "show that" questions, and this is what I had:

1)A = -1/2, B = 9/2
-1 + 7x - 22/3 x^2 + O(x^3)
-1/2 < x < 1/2

2)x = 0°, 99.6°, 206.4°

3)A = -3, B = 2, C = 9
p = -69/2 (lol), q = 9/2

4) m = 181g, t_1/2 = 330 days

5) p = 2/15
r = 1/3, s = 4/15

6) cos theta = 13/35
intersection = (2, 0, -1)
C = (5/2, -5/6, 7/6), D = (3/2, 5/6, 5/6) (or vice versa)

7) gradient = e^4/2

8) k = 12, c = -pi (but if you put the +c on the opposite integral, you would have got c = pi assuming that's correct)

Anyone agree?
For question 2, should not 0 be eliminated since the boundaries were 0 < x < 360
3. Anyone remember the binomial question?
4. How many marks would I lose if I did the trig one in radians i forgot to look at the limits

The usual policy is that they ignore extra trigonometric values and you get the mark if you've got all the valid ones in that range.

Yeah, wrote -5/2 in the exam but when I copied it from my calculator to some paper and then from the paper to this thread I misread my 5 as a 1
14. Can anyone remember their co-ordinates for C and D in the vectors question. I remember I got (integer, a/3, b/3) for both co-ordinates, but can't remember what I got for a and b. Alternatively can anyone remember the question?

Uuurgh so annoyed core 3 went really well for me but this didn't. Hope my core 3 ums brings me up to A* :/ For the integration question I got 9/2ln3 -69/2, but this comes up as a negative number.. Have I done it wrong?
I got the same value and my integration calculator agreed so should be fine

Yes as x is greater than 0 therefore x cannot be 0
