There's this guy (significantly older than me) who gives me a lift into work and back each day, and whatever I say (e.g. I have a girlfriend, of which I'm in a LDR with.) he miraculously has had the same experience, and his "ex girlfriend" was from the exact same city, and he was in an LDR with her too..what are the chances..? (slim to none..)

Says to me that he used to be on drugs and alcohol all the time, and always gloats about how much money he used to be on (he's an apprentice now, on far less money than me - I beg to differ. )

    I just can't stand him!
Omg that happened to me

I'm being genuine though. This girl when I was school suddenly had the same family stuff happening and knew exactly how I "felt"... Oh okay... So your dad fell off the ladder the same day mine did and fractured his vertebra? Oh in exactly the same place as well? Get a grip

Urgh... If you wana copy something, lie about something good, don't put your dad in hospital for the sake of sympathy

I get you! I really do

    Hahaha! That's so stupid.

In a sh*t attempt to gain common ground with you, they have to BS their way through a conversation..
It's safe to say that if you have to BS to make conversation with someone, it's probably better off the liar f**ks off

When people bullsh*t and pretend they share a common interest with you, when they evidently don't.

    "You've heard of 'Passenger', right?"
"...o-o-oh yeah, such... a good band..?"
    "Do you listen to Fractal?"

    "YEAH MAN"

"What's your fave track off of Gaia EP?"

    *no reply*

I know right. Safe to say I didn't speak to her again

But I just don't get people and why they have to lie... It just takes up so much time and effort and then you have to remember the lie. No ones got time for that ****!

    Urgh I'm frustrated now
