Aw I remember feeling the same way when I had to start wearing glasses. Hated it! Now it doesn't bother me at all.

Well, I'm not going to be wearing them 24/7 - just when doing near sighted things and computer work - ok. All the time then!

Death sentence for Boston bomber http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-32757790

I'm sorry but no matter what anyone does, the death penalty isn't justified. Killing a killer for killing makes you no better than them. A life sentence (and I mean whole life in prison) would have been justified in my eyes, but not death.

In Parliament XV when UKIP basically naffed off and left us to rule alone, I think I was foreign sec at the time. (And chairman, Jarred had just taken over as DL from me I think). Didn't last long as Foreign Sec though as I've only ever really created bills for education. Once I'd done those Bills, I settled on just making sure the party ran well and had a good number of new members coming through, learning the ropes etc. Focussed more on the behind the scenes stuff.
Was SoS for Education under Indie's government too. That's when I produced most of my bills. Can't remember which parliament that was. Maybe XIV.

Think you've definitely held the highest position, and for the longest too!!
Ah i remember.

In the 15th parliament we had Toronto as Foreign Sec, you were Chairman and education (my first term as PM) with Jarred as Chancellor and Government Whip.

I've remembered that you were foreign Sec in the 19th parliament (my 3rd and Qwertish's term) because that's the one where we released a lot of statements but you appointed Stannis from the Liberals to act as the diplomat in the MUN.

This terms MP's on the right though are pretty green in government terms, as Foreign you've gone further than the vast majority.

I very much agree.

Tbh I never really took a strong stance on the death penalty until I got involved in a debate on it and researched both sides. After that the answer was absolutely clear to me.

The biggest objection I have isn't actually the whole "they may be innocent" side of things, it's the consequence of that which is a very long very expensive review process which counteracts the savings from killing them. Given that basis, much more cost effective ways to deal with the issue.

I'm sympathetic to putting people to death if they plead guilty however i'm against it in all other circumstances.

If you were on a jury where you knew a guilty verdict would result in a death sentence, would you vote not guilty? I think I would.
