I've been with a girl who had a boob job. They most definitely did not look normal and they felt like rocks! And she had sub-pectoral implants which are supposed to be the more 'natural' type. You could tell a mile off she had a boob job.

Plus, unless you go for one of the newer surgical approaches (transumbilical or axillary) you have quite obvious scars at the bases of your breasts.
Despite the scarring (which was not very obvious), the two girls who I know who had breast augmentation are fairly happy with the results, and one had a boyfriend, and he wasn't bothered by them either.

Lol, wasn't going to quote you, I just clicked on quick reply on your post, and forgot to uncheck 'quote message'.

Life is short. If your breasts (or lack thereof) make you miserable; then do something about it. It's not unreasonable to desire some breasts.

Don't however, abuse the NHS. Get a job, get a loan - pay for it yourself. You'll probably end up with a better result that way anyway, due to being able to choose a surgeon who's had years and years of experience over being appointed someone who's fairly new in their career.

Suggestive of a bad surgeon and perhaps she had (the beginnings of) capsular contracture?

They can look and feel surprisingly natural if done well. Although of course you can't escape some form of scarring.

thre is significant risk that a woman could not breast feed successfully for one,
Wouldn't the breasts grow during pregnancy to accomodate that? How would implants make a difference?

OP: You could also try macrolane aka 'the breast jab', although that's fairly new and still not without risks/bad outcomes.
