Cellar Door does sound quite nice but it actually sounds like a single, foreign word, so I dunno about it being the nicest english word...

    I really like 'Insatiable'

Why would you post Donnie Darko in a thread about pretty sounding words?
Not to be picky, but I believe that is Frank; Donnie Darko is the character played by Jake Gyllenhaal...

But isn't cellar door 2 words?

I actually think "beautiful" is a beautiful word.
If you say it admirably to a girl (not cheesy) her heart will melt. It's an impact word if you think about it.
I think they were looking for the most beautiful word or phrase.

I know c'est l'adore is not literally "it's the love", but it was close enough for my pointing out of creepy coincidences :P

My mum, whenever I was feeling upset as a little child, would come up to me and say "Fluffy mushrooms" and I would instantly feel better =D
