Two sessions since I've been gone; should have been three, but uniwork, and my part time job are taking all my time

    video of last set:

all of them seem to go up ok, I just run out of air and feel so sick doing that many reps lol

Then just some leg extensions and hammie curls

    leg ext x 20
    hammie curl x 20
    leg ext x 10
    hammie curl x 10

hammies were so pumped up I couldn't walk without them cramping, legs are in pieces today

    Arms - 24th

    CGBP
    90 x 8
    80 rest pause 7/3/2

    Tate Press
    17.5kg each dumbbell
    x10
    x10
    x10

    Barbell Curl
    35kg
    x8
    x8
    x8

    Bicep Cable Curl
    35kg

    x8

    Tricep Pulldown

    Corals kicking your butt?

I'm wondering how you juggle everything because I think I'm heading for a struggle:

    University (Politics & Spanish)
    University basketball team
    Corals (Part time)
    Girlfriend
    Lifting

    Might not sleep a lot.

It's difficult lol, since my comp in Nov training has been a bit all over the place, sometimes only managing to get to the gym once/twice a week..

Trying my hardest to get in 3 sessions a week at the moment though

My boss is giving me tonnes of hours, one of our guys left over christmas, so now she needs me more. So, the last few weeks, and for the next few weeks, I've been doing 3 till end on friday, 11 till end on saturday and 4 on the sunday. Add that to my uni and it takes its toll..
    Not much free time lol

**** it I'm going back on DC, its the only thing ill stick to lol!

    Incline Smith Machine Press

    90kg for 10/3/2 1/2

I say 1/2 because I couldnt get it all the way to the top, then when I tried to rack it, I realised the smith pins were missing at that level!! So I mustered up whatever strength I had left to get it to the top - the second or two pause probably helped a little lol

    Chest stretch - 22.5kg - 50 secs

    Rack Chins
    +10kg
    10/6/1 1/2

This was fcuked up a bit. I did the 10 reps, then was having a 10 sec break before the next set, but someone who was benching next to me asked if I could spot, so I had to go and spot him thus giving me about a 1min break rather than 10 secs!

    Military Press

    50kg
    12/2/1

Still crap at pressing, oh well. Its amazing how fast your strength goes when rest pausing these.

    Tate Press

    22.5kg dumbbells
    10/4/3

Tricep stretch - 8kg a min per arm

    V-bar pulldown

    70kg
    15/5/3

My back is starting to feel dodgy again, has been the past few days. Fcuking p1ssing me off, as I know I'm going to have to pay like £30 to get it pushed back into place. I think ill leave it a few weeks / months though, and perhaps try yet another different physio.

why you bothering with smith machines? if you want to get big use free weights, period.

    Oh I'm sorry

    1) I didn't have any spotters, and its hard to rest pause effectively without them
    2) It's safer to rest pause bench on a smith machine
    3) It's easier to go right up to the point of a failure on a smith machine
    4) I still use free weights 90% of the time
    5) Heavier weight than I use on an incline bench with a free barbell, so more weight on the muscle
    6) I can safely perform a static hold at the end of the movement, which I couldn't do on a free weight with no spotters
    7) Highly recommended by the DC guys to have incline smith as one of your exercises

I also think the DC guys are right: the incline smith press is better than the freeweight alternative for upper chest/delt development anyway.
