Can't believe only one person thinks Lissie's album was good, in my opinion its been one of if not the best album of the year.
Also can't believe someone said Joana Newsom, really? what were they thinking?her voice is worse than Diana Vickers

    1) Laura Marling - I Speak Because I Can. Number one on this list by miles.
    2) Frightened Rabbit - The Winter of Mixed Drinks
    3) Admiral Fallow - Boots Met My Face
    4) Johnny Flynn - Been Listening
    5) Bombay Bicycle Club - Flaws
    6) Foals - Total Life Forever
    7) Local Natives - Gorilla Manor
    8) Paperplain - Entering Pale Town (technically an EP but it's fairly long so it's going here)
    9) The Gaslight Anthem - American Slang
    10) The Drums - The Drums

Serotonin - The Mystery Jets could also potentially have a place on the list somewhere, probably around 7 or 8... I've only just started listening to it.

Also, I'm very sad that Come Around Sundown - Kings of Leon can't be on the list, but it's just dire, except for one or two tracks. It's such a shame since Youth and Young Manhood, Aha Shake Heartbreak and Because of the Times are three mind-blowing albums.

Couldn't agree more. But he is a ridiculously talented guy. I saw him live for the first time this year and I never realised he could play like 5 different instruments until then.
