...I've spent £5 on my husband (together for 11 years) - on a pair of Simpsons slippers. And he better be grateful!
Ahahaha, good to hear that monetary value of presents go down as the years go up! It's the thought that counts sure. Assassin's Creed 3 cost £40 from HMV, and he's also got a Where's Wally mug for the rip-off price of £8.50.. Wally is hiding quite well though, I can't find him!

For future reference, I've been told that you can get pop tarts in bentalls centre now (not sure if it's a well known company or whatever, but we have a huge one here xD). Otherwise if you're in London any time, they have a shop called Cybercandy which have sweet imports and sell pop tarts singly and in boxes (it's in Piccadilly Circus, or at least a 3 min walk from shaftesbury avenue).
Other than here in Kingston I think the only other one is in Bracknell?

Ooh I like the Where's Wally mug idea!

Tbh, I think that now we have kids and we share money, if we want something for ourselves we just buy it. So presents are kind of redundant!
Im his present! Putting up with him for so long...

    :P

Just want some feedback, Christmas presents for my boyfriend of 5 months.

    • T shirt
    • Book on something he likes
    • DVD he likes
    • Poptarts he loves but can't buy in the shops, have to be ordered online
    • Grow-your-own venus fly trap (I know he'll like that)
    • Little set of colognes

I know I'm probably fussing over nothing but is this a reasonable present?
Or should I get something more? ARRRGHHH!
Basically asking if you guys were him, would you be satisfied with that present or feel a bit miffed?
(I know you don't know him/what he likes but just in general)

Spent about £45 altogether. Cheers in advance!

    /stresshead
    My boyfriend got me:

    1) £66 jacket from Topman
    2) 4 Pairs of boxers £20,- Topman
    3) Scalf
    4) The Bodyshop set of shizzle.

    I got him:
    A £35 hair dyer
    £10 of boxers from Topman.

    ---

As you can see I spent less, but it's what he wanted,- he spent more.

You can always spend more,- but it does not mean you need too!

My boyfriend spent more on me, but it does not mean I should spend more on him.

    There's no value to love.

(we've been together 5 months too)

I am okay with the t shirt as long as it did not come from Primark or M&S. If it isn't at least £35 then I won't be too happy

Book..... yes please, make sure it is autographed.

    DVD....... I won't complain.

Poptarts? I hate them, reminds me of the times when I was "poor"

Grow-your-own fly trap..... no thanks...... but if he likes it then cool.

Set of colognes.......... I would be wondering if my gf think I stink Unless of course she is buying me a cologne I already use.

You could have saved yourself £45 by just giving him a blowjob, you know...

Sounds fine to me. Especially poptarts, ****ing love poptarts

Besides, i've been with my girlfriend for 10 months now and i'd be happy with anything, I wouldn't even care if she bought me a pack of beer and a cookie as long as I have her
