It may sound like a strange question, but what is it like for you on nights out or at music concerts or when you hear musicals etc.
Do the colours get more complex when the music is more complex?
sorry to be questioning you, but I find it interesting =]

yeah there was a thread about this before where i realised i wasn't the only person to have this i have it more predominantly with numbers, e.g. every number has its own colour, and numbers that are more than a few digits long sort of end up like a series of blurred together colours.. hard to explain
    Aah me as well
But I know loads of people who have this

And yes I do have the music one too. I only get it with certain songs though - most of the time I just think up stories to sort of watch in my head while listening to the music

I've researched this before, I can't get my head around the concept, whereas I imagine someone who has it couldn't imagine not having it, if you catch my drift.
Thats so true, i often find it hard to get my head round the fact that other people don't have the same assosiations as I do! I have grapheme - colour and sound - colour synaesthesia

    !:zomg:!
wait, so do different genres in music do different shapes/colours? what type of sounds have what kind of shapes?

    it's so intriguing... :beard:

......is there a way to induce synesthesia? :teehee:

EDIT:lol permanently  I suppose there is LSD just in case, but i don't know about taking the risk..
lsd doesnt have much if any risk at all
