Does anybody have this method of revising?

I used to have a similar attitude to you, OP. I'd always be laid back in lessons, have low attendance, not revise to the last minute, and tbh, beat almost everyone in the exams. Then I went to university, and I was out after a few months - I learnt the hard way all right!
