Speaking from someone whose family has owned a black bookstore for several years, you do come across as somewhat ignorant. At least ignorant of life past Swansea.

There are many people supporting black businesses everywhere, but the reality is that black culture as a subculture barely demands attention anymore. If people want to get postcolonial literature about the oppression of black people, they'll go to amazon and buy it cheaper instead of supporting their local independent bookshop.

After a while, these specialist items just seep into the consciousness of the mainstream, so there is no real market for them. Obviously hair and cuisine is an exception, but maybe not for long.

Why can't black people do this and get their act together. There have been Caribbeans livivng her since the 50's and they've achieved NOTHING!
Over the years black people have integrated more so than the indians, the chinese etc. and have been able to succeed in the 'white world', so not having 'a business' doesn't mean they haven't been successful or that they haven't achieved anything. Secondly, too much of one race just helping out 'their own' is what leads to segregation and isn't particularly good for business either as the wider the audience the better really. Maybe- just maybe - black people have businesses other than the typical corner shop, restaurant, hairdresser etc and you don't see them because they're working in an office? Small-mindedness like your is never good for business and it's just the unfortunate truth that if you want to increase profits and succeed, sometimes you have to abandon certain loyalties like race and nationality. The same thing is happening on a wider level in Britain where certain operations are outsourced abroad to save on costs and independent retailers (including white british business owners) are losing out to the big guys. A business based on racial solidarity is never going to be the most profitable one.

There are too many things you haven't considered in your ill-thought-out rant. And by the way, you being black does not make you exempt from racism.

Totally agree. I'm black African and find there isn't any cohesiveness in the black community; black groupings are always fighting amongst each other.

Why aren't there any black businesses? I just got back from my barber shop and he's an Asian guy (he speaks Arabic) Everywhere i look all i see are Chinese, Indian,Thai, Asian e.t.c owned and run businesses. They get really rich because of it. Today i walked past their businesses and saw an E55 AMG, SL55 AMG and an Aston Martin DBS all parked outside. All races that i know of stick and help each other. E.g Chinese help Chinese, Indian help Indians e.t.c

In the US it's slightly better as many rappers beciome rich but there still isn't any black solidarity whatsoever despite being there for the best part of 500 years.WTF IS GOING ON??
Don't even dare call me a racist because i'm black and i'm in disbelief at what i see.

Have a look at this. It's a little bit long bt it's really clever and just absolutely BONE CHILLING!

There isn't any cohesiveness because a number of the black population are always being negative about other black people.

There is no 'black community'. There is no 'white community'. This racial segregation, 'racial cohesiveness' stuff is bull****.

There is no 'black community' just like there is no 'white community' just like there is no 'sisterhood' etc etc, I know that a lot of Black Africans dislike Jamaicans, and really discourage their children hanging around (as my father put it) "those Jamaican boys".

The main reason is because most black people would rather do each other over than work together. They work harder on “protecting their gangs” and killing each other, it’s sad really but until they stop with the black on black crime there never going to have a majority share in business the way Chinese or Asian people do.

Asian barber? :lolwut: woow i have never seen an asain babbers in my areas

You're the only one in the whole thread who even has a clue what i'm saying. All other groups of people show solidarity and stick and help each other. Whites have their own businesses that help and support each other. So do Jews, Indians, Chinese e.t.c
Just look around they're all wealthy yet black people have nothing excpet the latest pair of Air Force 1's from Foot Locker
They can turn to each other for support. All blacks have is drugs in ****ing ghettos. They're much more happy drinking that vile SuperMalt **** and eating horse takeaways.

ROFL what the **** are you on about mate. What kind of stereotypical world do you live in. Because it is not the same as mine,

Yes some blacks do live in the conditions you describe but so do many whites and those of other ethnicities. Infact in the uk more white people live like this than black people. There are hundreds of successful black people in the uk.

I am honestly lost for words at the sheer ignorance of your post, it's like you've watched loads of black american ghetto/gangster movies and confused fiction with reality.

Your level of ignorance is astounding, almost impressive. You should be given an award, seriously!
