I would like to do a joint degree in History and Maths and I'm applying to St. Andrews, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Keele and Aberstywth (the only other one offering it is Derby). Bit of an akward choice but they are the two subjects I am most passionate about, I was thinking of interlinking them as I believe them to be important to understanding mordern life in general, and I've managed to write over half my persoanl statement merely on why I like these two subjects (will have to re-write the devil!), can't really think what to put for why I'd be good at the course, I don't like bigging myself up, suppose it has to be done though.
