One of my friends who is applying to medicine said that unis now prefer Physics over Biology sometimes; she's doing Physics and Chemistry and not Biology, so I'd say go with Phsyics...but then I hate Latin.

I had the same choice and chose latin. Everyone who does and did physics said that it was boring and got very hard in the A2 year. Also, most of the course is centred on maths which may be a bit of an overload depending on how much you like maths.
the only problem with latin (that i can see) is that you have to learn the set texts in a lot more detail.
basically (in a completely unbiased way) DO LATIN

I'm also a medic, in yr 13. I chose Physics for AS. Completely regretted it, wish so freaking much I did Latin.

Plus 3 sciences + maths is not fun. You need a different subject. It not only shows variety but will provide some needed relief from equations and theories.

I did do enough work to get an A: just not an A* worthy A at A2.

Am only giving you my personal viewpoint and physics comes out on top every time.

I'd assume Physics would be the same? Or is it not as big of a jump?
Dependant on the exam board. AQA is a killer.
