My summer last year was really busy, i was away for the best part of 3 weeks with scouts and for the other time there was exciting stuff happening every few days

This summer I've been so bored, I tried desperately to find a summer job but to no avail,
I applied for another volunteer job I really wanted at a local heritage centre, as the other volunteer job I have and will continue to do is is only a few hours every few weeks and I didn't want to apply for any other until I'd heard from the heritage centre. I applied in early June, they've only just got back to me and I have an interview on Friday.

So whilst I had so many plans to work and volunteer and do things everyday the reality has been wake up at 1pm, eat toast, watch Jeremy Kyle until I sleep, and repeat. Although I have been spending some time self-teaching German which is great.

Roll on the end of the holidays!

Since I can't get a job, it's just sitting at home, watching films and TV shows haha

I always thought the expression "To kill time" is a very amusing one. How can one actually kill time? You can't touch it. If you throw a clock off the top story of a building and it smashes, time still goes on. Even Superman himself has no power against it. Best to make friends with time or else gain an unbeatable foe!
it's a metaphor...

Um...
-Play Games
-Watch TV
-Sleep
-Relax
-Draw/paint
-Play a musical instrument
-Go out

The usual. Although im not doing much, in some ways it is just so nice to have the time to do nothing for once.
