Why the fudge does it matter what ethnicity you are?

If you like him, and you think he might like you, go for it. The worst that can happen is rejection, and trust me, you'll get over it. My best friend is a girl who rejected me
aww that's cute i'll see if i am in the crazy mood lol when i see him

But that doesn't necessarily mean he finds himself attracted to those types of girls, does it....?
i think he is, all his ex's have been from that group but I've heard stories where he has secret relationships, so i'm not sure if his parents are really stict or not

It depends really on a) religion and b) the lenience of your families and c) you r personalities. But, still, why not?
    a) religion:

I'm hindu and he's orthodox christian

    b) lol I'm not allowed to date at all, that's why i've never had a boyfriend but I want him to be my first boyfriend

    c) I have no idea what his personality is like, though people have said he's sly but a fun person

Oooh, well I guess there is the religious problem. However, it depends on how you two deal with it. I guess with religious south Asians there tends to be those sorts of barriers- some don't- but I am guessing your parents are quite strict in that way too. Also did you say sly, or did you mean shy because if it was the first...

I do like him, i've liked for so long -_- but his friends have labelled me as the quiet snobby girl, I just don't talk to most of them because they are racist. but he went to a different school. It would be weird because we didn't go to the same school, we don't talk lol, we just see on the road which is very rarely. but being a fool, I developed my feelings a bit too far.

    that's why I know I won't have a chance with him.
Aww that sounds sad... Have you tried getting over him by say distracting yourself with something else?

If he is an orthodox Christian it is likely that his parents are strict but that may not be a bad thing although maybe you two have the 'no dating' thing in common.

haha i know i will get rejected though, he hangs around with "model" like girls who party all the time.
If he is that superficial, what do you see in him?

Beautiful girls who like to party =/= superficial.

    But nevermind that, GUUUUUUURL!

I'm an Indian girl! And my boyfriend of nearly two years IS Greek Cypriot!

So yes I've seen a lot of this 'type' of couple.

This 'type' of couple work very good.

And this 'type' of couple gonna make best looking kids who gonna have model-level of beauty and know how to have fun and get judged as superficial by less confident people.

    So GO FOR IT.

But fair point... I shouldn't extrapolate from the ones I know to the rest of the world.

I'm over it. We've both dated other people since then and, while it hasn't exactly worked out for either of us, we've been totally supportive of each other. I still think she's pretty and awesome (and pretty awesome), but my feelings are purely platonic.

So if she came onto you one night, you'd turn it down?

Yeah, because it would mess up our friendship.

    This is way off-topic, though
