I quite like programmes such as Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, they have interesting light-hearted stories and mildly humourous but barely ever make me actually laugh, like a smile at most and maybe a couple of laughs here and there. Only a few shows have actually made me laugh like Only Fools and Horses or Mr Bean, I dunno if that's just me lol. Any recommendations that you get your gut busting?
Miranda? on the BBC. It's quite an unusual style of humour, but you'll get used to it. Defo LOL moments

    The Inbetweeners
    The Office (UK)
    The Mighty Boosh
Miranda (when she starts a new job in an office and she has to answer the phone - I could really relate to it and couldn't stop laughing)

The old Two and a Half Men episodes (seasons 1-3.) This is when it was really good.
    Father Ted is hilarious.
The Big Bang Theory is funny but there's never any real "laugh out loud" moments in it.
And of course, The Simpsons (season 1-9) is excellent.
