    Hi, OP. In terms of how to break up with him, decide in advance exactly what you want to say. You don't have to justify yourself to him, so say as much or as little as you want to. If he asks questions that you don't want to answer, just say that you don't want to do any more talking for now; you just want things to be over and may be able to talk further at a later date. If you want to tell him that he's broken your confidence and self-esteem and that you need to be alone to re-build yourself, that's fine. If you just want to say you've realised he isn't the right guy for you and you want out, that's also fine. Just make sure the message is clear: you want the relationship to end. I also advise that you cut contact entirely, at least until you've moved on, and that you do not let him talk you into staying. You've made the right decision; now you need to stick with it.
