I love Pokemon, if that counts :awesome: I still have a Game Boy Colour
And I've played a couple of basic games like Professor Layton on the DS
I have a few favourite games on PS2, like Lara Croft and the first Prince of Persia.
Yeah Pokemon is still going strong, played a few of them (way too time consuming, I find that when I take a break after a couple weeks I can't be arsed going on there anymore until months later). Also played some random FF game a few years back. Also Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic (and the 2nd one). But these games take so much time... -.-

Haven't played Prince of Persia, I got Assassin's Creed games instead and I used to play Lara Croft on PS1 back in the days. What about board games like chess?

Do you watch films/TV series (excluding Doctor Who and Sherlock)/anime?

Most likely I would spend more time being a **** on the other forum I visit, playing battlefield 3, or procrastinating. TSR is definitely the best or at least the second best forum on the internet.

I haven't played any of the recent Pokemon games, I think Ruby and Sapphire were the last good ones. I'm a sucker for the first three generations.

Yeah I love board games I love playing chess, but I'm a bit rubbish at it :erm: I love Monopoly and Cluedo and stuff like that :awesome: I like card games as well...

I watch soaps, Emmerdale mainly which is guilty pleasure Other TV shows... I love Merlin and Robin Hood, and I've just started watching Game of Thrones. My favourite films are Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Narnia and LOTR, mainly.

      What about you?

As far as board games go, you've pretty much listed my favourite ones! Chess, Monopoly and Cluedo. :awesome: Granted I'm not very good at Chess because I haven't played for a long time and it's only occasionally now. I taught my siblings about it though, it seems to me that too few people this generation neglect traditional games like these. Card games are fun as well (you talking about trading card games or playing cards?).

I started watching Merlin when it first came out but then I stopped, not sure why though and since then haven't got back into it. But most definitely Game of Thrones, absolutely love it. Do a marathon and watch all the seasons in one go if you just started.

Used to watch Prison Break as well (finished now), Hustle, Firefly, Spooks, Outcasts, The Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone, House MD, couple others and now trying to get into Dexter. Not really a fan of soap operas, but in the past my guilty pleasure was Charmed... and more recently True Blood... they aren't soaps though.

Those 3 film series (HP, PoTC and LoTR) are also at the top of my list, I've seen them way too many times. I think I might watch all the Narnia films again now that you mentioned it, lol. So bored right now. Tbh way too many films to list, but I'd add The Matrix trilogy (and The Animatrix) to that list as well.

:awesome: Traditional board games are great! I meant actual playing cards, like Black Jack etc.

You have a wider range of tv programmes than me I just have a few that I really love. I really adored Merlin, I was gutted when it was cancelled. The first four series are the best :yep: I think I'm on to episode 4 of Game of Thrones, I like it a lot so far, but the episodes are really long My favourite character is Daenerys

I have seen HP and POTC too many times, WAY too many times. I haven't watched LOTR enough yet though, because I only got into it last year. I need to do a rewatch, but again, they're so long XD I find it hard to sit still sometimes
I like the Narnia films a lot, but mainly the first one The last two sort of stamped all over the books I'm currently watching the 1988 Narnia TV series :giggle:

Oh I see, yeah I'm **** at those games and no one explains them properly to me or maybe I just can't understand it. I'm more familiar with the playings cards during pre-drinks lol, but haven't played since last year. It was always associated with gambling in my family and so it was all strictly prohibited for me growing up and I guess when I got to uni it seemed too complicated that I didn't bother.

Well I'm not watching anything right now (the ones I listed I already finished them) except for Game of Thrones. Maybe some stuff on BBC iPlayer and 4oD every now and then, mainly documentaries and also the new Dragons' Den is being shown now, sometimes Top Gear as well.

It's always been shows with some sort of twist, a mystery, something supernatural, fantasy, mythical etc.

Ah, you read books then? A lot? What are you reading at the moment? That's the other thing I find is being lost this generation... reading!

Btw, if you watch LoTR make sure it's the uncut extended versions (way longer but worth it!)... that's gonna be a challenge lol.

Are you familiar with the book series (trilogy) called His Dark Materials? They released the first film a while back called The Golden Compass which is based on the first novel called Northern Lights. In some ways it's the opposite of what the Narnia series is, very basically anti organised-religion.

I'm not a big reader, no I used to read a lot when I was younger though, mainly Enid Blyton and Harry Potter I still read the Narnia books and Harry Potter every now and then, though. I'm about a third of the way through LOTR atm, I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it, it's so long XD

Yeah definitely. I've seen the uncut version of the first film, but not of the other three. I need to watch them. Did you go to see The Hobbit last year?

Ah no, I've heard a lot about them though. I think I saw a bit of the Golden Compass in school once :hmmmm:

Did you ever used to watch Primeval?

Curiosity more than anything. People are not used to seeing online couples.
I've seen a lot of online couples. Theres even a thread on here filled with them lol

We aren't a couple anymore wanyway, it was actually a bad experience but I'm glad it happened as I learned a lot about me and what I want.

I probably wouldn't know so much about religion specifically Islam. I've learnt a lot about philosophy and politics and social issues too.
