Paper round(s) from 13-18 (when I went to uni). Tbh it suited me. £20 a week for not all that much work. Then when I was at uni I was a student ambassador - basically attending events to say how great the uni was and getting £10 an hour for it. Then when I left I worked as a writer/editor/proofreader and although I'm enjoying the money I'm now looking for a more conventional job for the security of it even though it'll mean taking a pay cut!

Technically my first job was at mcdonald's (which wasn't great as I'm a vegetarian :P) but I only did like 5 shifts before I started working at Waterstones
