Social Work. Specificall: mental health, rehabilitation (drugs, prison and army) or addictions. However, i'll see what happens during my degree and find out what i'm interested in there.

It combines everything i'm interested in: Sociology, Law, Psychology, Politics etc. Also, it is quite a broad degree and will allow me to be able to change paths but still use that knowledge if things don't work out to be a social worker.

Yeah that's what put me off teaching high school kids. Yeah very true but I try not to think about that when thinking about my future. I've just finished a course in Media, you? Thanks, good luck to you too.
Yeah, high school is the worst age group to teach. I am sorry, it is something to avoid thinking about.

I have been out of education this year. I completed a BTEC Level 3 in Travel and Tourism last year and I am now hoping to study A-levels from home. Thanks.

It is. No need to apologise it's fine.

I had to do a BTEC I'm terrible at exams sadly but it got me into uni so I can't complain. Good luck with your A Levels

What grade did you get? I am terrible at exams too. Indeed it is good BTECs get you into university. I got a Distinction worth 120 UCAS points. Sadly I need more points.

    Thanks. A-levels are hard.

I got DMM (280 UCAS points) not the best grade but I spent a year and a half doing no work so I really can't complain. Aww no can't you do another BTEC? My friend did 2.

Hey, I have applied to do an English degree and had hopes to become a teacher. I've now started to change my mind and have been leaning towards advertising/marketing. Would an English degree still be okay for this career path?

That is a very good grade, and a good number of UCAS points. Why did you spend so long doing no work?

I am looking at the possibility of doing another BTEC. I actually failed 2: Applied Science and IT. I had too many teachers for Applied Science (4) and it all went a bit wrong, and I ran out of time to complete IT, which I had hoped to pass. I am looking to re-do 1 of them to give me some extra points.

I just couldn't be bothered would rather spend my time messing around and laughing with my friend, I'm regretting it now because I could easily have gotten a better grade if I had tired harder but I've learnt my lesson.

Fingers crossed you can resit then.

Your grade was good enough, and you got to where you wanted to be. That is what matters.

I am hoping I will be able to re-do one of them. I will let you know when I find out, if you like?

True, can't help but think what grade I would have gotten if I had worked hard for 2 years instead of 2 months!

Ooh please do let me know.

A career with animals. Either a vet nurse or a zoologist/wildlife biologist. I want to help animals, yet at the same time I want to study and observe wild animals in their natural habitats.

That's a shame. Maybe you could still learn about cosmology. I'm sure there will be classes for people who already have degrees, no? Depends how badly you'd like to do cosmology however.

Dunno tbh. I read about it and watch documentaries in my spare time so it's doesn't after really. Just a shame I can't get a job in it.

Officer in the Royal Marine Commando's, and then onto military contracting and other private military stuff. Maybe a PHD at Oxbridge/ UCL inbetween.

Why? Ethical reasons for the former, financial for the latter. I have no qualms in taking human life or risking my own in order to do so. Some people have called me a mercenary for the second career. Do I care? Not in the slightest. I'll be one driving the Bentley with two escorts in the back whilst they are sat in their boring offices.

I'm so jealous of everyone who knows what they want to do. Even though i'm well into my twenties and i've just graduated, I haven't got a clue. Absolutely nothing comes to mind.

I have some sort of fascination with the stock market and when playing a simulator i turned 100k into 8bn in a month. I have a genuine enjoyment when buying and selling stocks.
