It may not be your intention to do so, but it does. How does it give you a "closer connection to God"? In addition, how does it please god?
It gives a me closer connection to God because wearing the niqab constantly reminds me that He is there and is aware of my actions. And it pleases Him because we as women are commanded to cover ourselves and that's what I am doing.

It's bad because it limits social interaction, scares people and is a security threat.

How can you pick up on me using Hitler, when I was only using him as a response to the other guy using Mandela, which is just as ridiculous?

When I was younger I used to get really upset and angry but now i don't care so much because I know people have these horrible stereotypes due to them being ignorant. And there is so much more people in the world that is accepting and tolerant.

I wish lol, but I don't think I would cope, I want to do a masters in microbiology and then maybe consider teaching.

My intention is not create a physical or emotional barrier but to cover myself and have a closer connection to God. Pleasing God is more important to me than people.
And there is the root of the problem.

How would you feel about a burka/niqab ban?

Social interaction= she said she has a lot of friends.

security threat= She said she shows her face when required.

Scares people= Media is to blame.
