Feminists, who are currently campaigning against Lads Mags and Page 3 etc., are apparently at the same time trying to promote women being topless? They never fail to amuse me :bricks:
Major logic fail right here. They want to desexualise the nude female form.

Which will be achieved if female nipples become normalised.

It will not be achieved by page 3 of which the entire point is sexualosing boobs.

Personally I think women should be able to walk around topless. Would make nip slips a lot less embarrassing, same for your nipples showing through your clothes. Most women love in fear of people even knowing they have nipples.

Because in Western society boobs are seen as sexual organs. Unless you wan't to move to some African nations, thats what it will remain.

I'm all for women walking around topless, just don't complain when people stare.

    over sexualisation

a females nipples is different from a mans, because as a society one is more sexually significant than the other. it would be different if they were the same, but they are not.

But they would, because boobs are seen as a sexual part of a womans body. If a pretty girl was walking topless down the street, its beyond naive to think men wouldn't stare at her boobs. And why wouldn't they, they are genetically made to be attracted to them.

Like said, if you want to walk around topless i don't think it should be illegal, but don't complain when people stare or you think someone may have just took a sly photo.

You should try going to the beach in Europe. Pretty women can walk around there topless without being harassed, mind blowing I know!!!

Oh and taking photos of anyone topless without their consent is very illegal :\

If a person is in public you can photograph them all you want. CCTV camera's etc. would be illegal otherwise. If they choose to take their clothes of in a public place, that doesn't immediately make it illegal to photograph them (unless their underage).

A beach and a random town center are two completely different places. You can go to a beach in Blackpool on a sunny day and not get much attention if you are topless, however if you stick that woman in a random town center it would be a different outcome.

But we aren't a nudost colony? Even if we were, to suggest that humans can just decide to turn their natural sexual instincts off is ridiculous.

You are seemingly trying to deny genetics. Men will always find females boobs an attractive and sexual part of their body, so if they are attracted to the girl, then they will end up staring etc. If a girl is fine with that, sure, if not, then don't walk around topless? Seems simple to me.

In this current culture we are ashamed of our own body, this is unnatural you're even made to think sex is wrong, tribes and communities in the amazon basin and papua new guinea have no such covering of the body, this is why pornography and Page 3 is so appealing. A female body is beautiful and diverse it should be unleashed all humans should be allowed to uncover and not get nicked for indecent exposure. I bwelieve we need to have a revolution of mind and body (spirtual revolution) get rid off the current government it doesnt serve us just the is their to sustain itself. i think this feminist campaign is wierd most feminists like to cover up and not bee seen as supposed sex objects

Except it is clearly cultural not genetic as in cultures where women don't cover themselves that doesn't happen.

How would you know? I know people in some African nations (usually tribes) sometimes walk around topless, but unless you've been there how would you know if people do or don't stare? Rapes etc. are also far higher in those places (and that's reported ones), so why are you so eager to follow that route?

It is genetic, men in some nude beaches walk around without their trunks, doesn't mean women aren't genetically sexually attracted to a mans penis. Same applies the other way round, only feminists seem to try and deny the way men and women are genetically wired.

Well, I have been there :\
Heehee you don't know the difference between correlation and causation

Believe me, women are not genetically attracted to men's penises, those things are hilarious. Least sexually enticing thing ever I'm afraid. I'm sure the media could change tat if they liked though...

If you say so, i've got your word for that.

Sure, if a old man unattractive man walks past girls wont be interested, the same way if a old woman with saggy boobs walks by a man probably wouldn't. However if a male model walks past naked, you honestly expect me to believe girls wouldn't look?

Not bothering to reply anymore, you clearly are ignorant to just general genetics. I'll just leave with what i said, if a woman wants to walk around topless i don't think it should be illegal, but don't then complain people may be staring at you etc. It will never change, as it can't change (unless scientists somehow genetically re-wire all future men), so as usual this is just a typical feminist wasting their breath campaign. Bye.

It's just nipple. We all, if not many were fed by them as a child; what's the big deal?
It's not like if it were suddenly legal swarms of women would reveal themselves!

    2) Male nipples and female nipples are different! The breast is a sexual aspect of the female anatomy and has been for centuries. An intrinsic view dated back to HUNDREDS of years cannot be changed because suddenly to have to "hide" the nipple is oppressive and wrong.
But the breast is not the issue, because you can show as much cleavage/sideboob/underboob as you like, as long as there's no nipple.

Oh come on. People will stare at a pair of breasts even if they're fully clothed. Do you really think people wouldn't stare if it became normal to walk around topless?

    This would be the reaction:

No-one gawps or stares at a sauna in Germany when there are young women who are topless (or nude for that matter).
