I'm engaged and we have a 1 year old, and trust me it doesnt do any good questioning your partners sexual past,, 1, they could always lie and 2, you should have enough trust and good judgment before you marry, another thing just because someone was a virgin before you met doesn't mean they will always be faithful to you, they might become resentful of the fact you have had more sexual partners and just because someone was more promiscuous doesn't mean they are guaranteed to cheat it's all swings and roundabouts, life is a roller coaster.
i totally agree. but it allows you to know what the risks are of what your getting into.

so if they've lied. they may have lied well and you will never know. they have lied well and you find out. they may lie badly and you'll know theyre a lier. they tell you the truth and its bad and it puts you off them. or they may tell you the truth and its ok.

like i expect most girls have had sex with a few guys and given them blow jobs. maybe some adventures ones have had anal. or had one night stands.
some may have cheated on their past partners too.

some might be virgins but as you said. they then decide to explore their sexual identity whilst in a relationship with you and then cheat horrifically.

thats why i wouldnt date a virgin or a ****.
    theres a happy medium.

so i dont mind a girl having a history within limits.
my biggest thing is truth. if you lie to me about your history. you can lie to me about our future.

i'm always honest and fair with girls. if they are considering a future with me i do tend to give them a run down of what their getting into so that theres no surprises.

so if you've lied and kept something from me that, had i known about early on would of not pursued a long term relationship with you. then im going to consider terminating the relationship.

i dont wanna be tricked in to a relationship that i wont feel comfortable with in future.

To those saying 8's and 9's - really??!! You would honestly be ok with your partner having been involved in multiple person sex with strangers and a partner who can't even remember how many people they've had sex with, or recall all the things they've done? Really? I honestly am quite shocked at the response.

I'm not insecure and fully understand people experiment, but does the above not seem a bit much for a long-term relationship? In my mind, it would take one hell of a strong person and a drastic change in their personality to lead the life of a pseudo-pornstar (as the OP put it) and then resort to an exclusive loving relationship with just one person. I'm not judging those that want to do the above - I totally agree everyone can lead the life they want to - but if you value sexual relationships, how can you expect to understand and be with a person who sees sex as something far more casual. Would it also not cause worries from the fact that they're lightyears ahead of you in experience and that satisfying their expectations of a "great night" may be quite difficult. Not sure how someone would be comfortable with knowing that most people in town have slept with your partner and then seeing them while out in town together.

Anyways thats my take on things.

Past in the past. Anyway I'm at least a 7 so it would be hypocritical to expect any less. I see sex as a pretty casual thing so I'm not that bothered about what they've done. I would be apprehensive if they had cheated on someone in the past though.

So you found someone you like, good looking, funny, etc... What's the most they could have done in their sexual past before you no longer consider being in a relationship with them? Please pick the most you could live with, not what you'd prefer.

    Pick between 1 and 10:

    1. kissless virgin- has done next to nothing with the opposite sex (or same sex if homo).

    2. 1 prior boyfriend/girlfriend- kissed + fondled but nothing more.

    3. 1-2 prior boyfriends/girlfriends with whom they had normal sex with, but nothing crazy.

    4. any number of prior boyfriends/girlfriends with whom they had normal sex with.

    5. any number of prior boyfriends/girlfriends with whom they did stuff like anal sex, public sex, basically any kind of sexual activity just involving the 2 of them, inc. sex tapes.

    6. same as 5., but also with 1-10 one night stands with whom they had normal sex with.

    7. any number of prior boyfriends/girlfriends and at least 20 one night stands with whom they did any kind of sexual activity just involving the 2 of them.

    8. multiple person sex ie. gangbangs, bukkakes, swinging, etc... with strangers.

    9. pornstar- can't even remember how many people they've had sex with, or recall all the things they've done.

    10. could put pornstars to shame- real hardcore 2 girls 1 cup type ****. Their number could be in the 1000s for all you know.

All this considering they are STI/STD free, and they will be loyal to you once you enter the relationship.

Also please state your age and gender, for example my answer would be:

    3.
    Male, 18.

p.s my idea of normal sex is simply penis and vagina sex, nothing more.
p.p.s this is just out of my curiosity.
    Girl, 20.

    10. Don't care about the number of partners and I don't really like vanilla sex

As long as they were faithful and STD free etc, then 10.
The past really doesn't bother me, and I'd be up for some of the more extreme stuff myself so.

Yes, I have been totally fine with a partner having group sex with strangers while we were in a relationship.

I'm not insecure and fully understand people experiment, but does the above not seem a bit much for a long-term relationship? Not much, no

Who said the relationship would be exclusive? If that's what you both want, that's fine, but it's just as fine if you both want it not to be. The issues arise when A wants one thing and B wants another. There's a C for that, communication.

Sexual relationships can have different values. There's a difference between having penis-in-wherever sex with a condom and without a condom, for example. You might be the only person they're doing the latter with.

Who said they were light years ahead?

Not sure how someone would be comfortable with knowing that most people in town have slept with your partner and then seeing them while out in town together.
The past is in the past, as has been said lots of times.

You said to assume they are STD free and being legit with you. In that case I couldn't care less what their sexual past entailed.

Fair enough. I've just never been the kind of person to take sex as a casual thing. Prefer it in an exclusive relationship. That's just my personal view. But like I said, I have no problems with people that do take it a lot more casually.

1-10. I don't really care, if my partner was pathetic enough to judge me at the present and judge my future according to my past, then she (or he, depending on how I sexually mature, or depending on the lighting) is too immature for me to really gauge in a relationship.

In the words of Kanye West:

"So if you had her too it don't effect me in the slightest ...

So I dismiss her past until she disappoints your highness"

It shouldn't matter, the only thing that should have any importance is your feelings at the time. Of course, if it's a ridiculously high number I would feel a little insecure and inadequate in a way, but i would not blame her because we all have a past. Honestly i would rather not know, and i would never ask, because i would feel that i'd end up judging her, and thats the last thing i'd ever want to do.
