    what is your 1st choice?
also, is it true that if you apply for the 2nd time round, you become very disadvantaged due to the applicants competing?

My first choice is oxford. For the course I want to do though, there aren't that many other good unis that offer it. The other alternative is soas, but that's in London and I most definitely do not want to stay here so yeah...

Not really if you're disadvantaged, though I really hope not!! I would have thought your chances remain the same, but I don't really know

same, I find learning languages really enjoyable I'm hoping to learn french and italian in the next couple of years, being a polyglot has many benefits

taking a gap year to take a break from studying and be away from home for a while out of my comfort zone. when I come back, I'll be so different

I'm not independent enough to tell them since anything really bad can happen. But I'm definitely sure they will not be supportive (I don't blame them). So yh, this is definitely not the best time to tell them.
Why? Imo your kids should come before anything/everything.

I never get bored of harry potter. I used to play order of the phoenix, but I'm really wanting to get half blood prince and deathly hallows. Being financially dependent on my parents is not the best thing ever since I've already spent £150 on my university open days :/

I have watched all of the movies, my favourite ones are all of them because i am very indecisive.
    Stupefy!
