I've heard International students aren't allowed to work in UK after graduating. If I come back to my home country- I will find a respectable job with a CS degree. That's why CS!
Good luck to you anyway !!
I really hope you get what you want!
Yep that's true, if you are not EU members you can't stay in UK after you graduate unless you find a job and obtain a work-permit visa from the UK.
    Good luck anyway!!!!
Wish you could get the offer from Manchester!!!
    Thank you so much btw

There are ways - but there are some fairly strict requirements and so not everyone does manage to stay. There are lots of details here http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/Internation...-your-studies/

Sweet, best of luck. Was anyone on here last year looking at the UoM forums & can remember when offers or interviews started coming in?

It will vary from subject to subject, but IIRC they started to come in in about October last year.

Cheers; just wanted to double check, going away & wanted to know I could relax before now and then without obsessively checking emails!

I'm thinking of applying for History and Politics combined. Manchester will be my first choice and I'll have Swansea as a back up if I don't get the grades.

Seems like a few of us are doing Politics, does that mean we might be in the same lectures? I'm also going to the open day on the 27th hope I don't get lost

Where two people on different courses are studying the same modules, then they'll be in the same lectures :yep:

There will be lots of student ambassadors dotted around campus on open day, so you won't get lost (or at the very least, you can always ask for directions!)

It sucks that you can't come to open day Have you seen the Weds afternoon guided tours that they run though? The downside is that there's no subject specific bit, but it can be a good alternative for people who can't make the open days http://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/un...campus-visits/
