Cheers for the quote, I hadn't seen this!

    (Original post by thebluepenguin)
What would happen in the event that the bonus tiebreaker does not produce an eventual winner? Would there be a lottery between the winning entrants? Or would the final prize be awarded to all the winning entrants?
    Hey bluepenguin,

In the event that the bonus tiebreaker doesn't produce one winner then what happens next will depend on how many people have won. If it was 2 or 3 who are tied we could split the dvds between them, however, if it is more than this it would probably be fairer to choose a winner lucky dip style!

    Hi there.

    Best Picture: Birdman (great film)
    Best Actor: Eddie Redmayne.
    Best Actress: Julianne Moore.
Best Supporting Actor: JK Simmons (excellent performance. The only category I am sure about.)
    Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette
    Best Director: Richard Linklater

Most Oscars on the night?? I'd like to say Birdman, but I reckon it will be The Grand Budapest Hotel. <-- GBH is my answer, by the way.

I really do hope that Julianne wins Best Actress, she really deserves it. I'd be happy with Rosamund Pike also since her performance in Gone Girl was fantastic!

Should win: The Grand Budapest Hotel
    Will win: Birdman
Best picture is pretty much between Boyhood or Birdman, but Birdman has been gaining momentum.

    Best Actor
Should win: Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything
Will win: Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything (fingers crossed)
Keaton was the frontrunner, and now it is Eddie, and I really hope it goes to him.

    Best Actress
Should win: Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl
Will win: Julianne Moore, Still Alice (Pretty much a lock at this point)

    Best Supporting Actor
    Should win: J.K. Simmons
Will win: J.K. Simmons (Another lock)

    Best Supporting Actress
    Should win: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood
Will win: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood (Again another lock)

    Best Director
Should win: Alejandro G. Inarittu or Wes Anderson
    Will win: Richard Linklanter
This one again is betwen the Boyhood and Birdman directors. Boyhood will win either best director or best picture just because the film was shot over 12 years, not because it is an amazing film. It's good but nothing special. I don't think it will win both catorgaries. Most awards: The grand Budapest Hotel
