I think around 73/74 for 100 UMS. Shouldn't lose any marks for interchanging P with X as long as you got the right answer

Hopefully not. Let's hope the grade boundaries are low I've looked through past ones and it ranges from 72 to 75.

Huge amount of room for mistakes, you either do it very well, or do it quite bad. Nasty paper, you can come in with a lot of revision for C1, and still do bad. Separates students by a big margin. If you start doing it in a bad fashion, nervous, confused, you will go down on a slippery slope of failure. Horrible paper.

I mean if this C1 paper was hard then the C2 paper could be easier than the other ones before. That's how it works a lot of the time.
    Oh, I see.

You make it equal 2, not -1/2 as it is the normal so f'(x) will equal the tangent.

I thought it was average compared to previous papers but I found it quite easy when compared to all the Solomon papers that I did. 75/75 for 100UMS I think not, 74/75.

I think this was a bit more challenging than the other years. I'm hoping the boundaries will be lower, need as high UMS as possible.
