Would you make your children cook and clean? watch

There's photos of my two brothers and me in our nappies baking cakes, so we were taught from an early age. Since age 12/13 maybe we got home before parents so had were expected to have made a meal, sorted the washing machine and made the dinners for the next day by the time they were home.
So many people my age can't cook or clean or whatever and will be screwed at uni! Glad we were taught young.

Some people and parents think that getting your kids to do chores is like some kind of exploitation. Is it more of a cultural thing?
