It's pretty sad so many people have such little affection for their fathers when compared to their mothers. My Dad wasn't around either, so of course I'd say my Mum, but still if I had kids and my children said they loved their Mum like 1000 times more than me I'd be pretty heart broken tbh. It's like your mum saying she loves your brother so much more than you lol
Never thought of it that wayyyyyyy. My dad wasn't a dad when he was around, and when he struck a million from a lawsuit left my mom for the woman he was cheating for rofl/

No, I even said that I get along with both of them and I cant say Im closer to my mom or anything, I dont love my mom more than my dad. But if I were forced to choose, I would choose my mom. And Im not surprised that pretty much everyone in here is saying the same thing, I did suspect that people are more attached to their mothers. I dont know if its a biological thing.
Well you did yes, but for others it's usually because their Dad wasn't around enough or even at all. I wouldn't say it's a biological thing either tbh, since others have said their Dad over their Mum.

Neither. My grandmother. My grandparents are the ones who raised me. I can't even imagine the pain when the day comes.

My dad wasn't a dad. He was no better than sperm donor.

I understand that. My Dad left when I was 7, so perhaps slightly better than yours, but still a ****ty Dad. I'm talking about a father who's there for their kid, and still gets told he's loved a lot less. If I had kids I would always be there for them, so I was coming at it from that angle.

I'm terrified of this day tbh. I was raised by grandparents too.

I love both my parents equally but I'd definitely be more affected by my mum's death. I think everyone has that bond with their mum that no one else can replicate, not even the father.
