    Those men are sexy!!

He only has cardigans (like granny ones) and zip up hoodies. Would those do though? I suggested that earlier
Decent shirt and jeans. Are you going for a drink or something before / after?

I'd say he has to pick either the trousers or the jacket. It's too much both together.
I think he's stubborn for the trousers. He said he's wearing red because it's like peacocking and attracts women to you if you wear bright colours.

My housemate has supreme gentleman tendencies.

Come on man, nobody wears denim blazers
I was thinking of lending him mine. He's so skinny we're almost the same size

Something like this should be good:

I don't think he has anything like that in his wardrobe.

Should I suggest a cardigan or hoodie with red trousers?

    You should see my jumpers

I cba to wear a full suit so I wear jumpers and cardigans instead. It's so much easier and comfortable.
Cardigans are nice too But jumpers...hmm....there is just something about a man in a jumper, y'know? well you don't know...but I dooooo

The cardigans will do! Just no chino's with them...well not chino's at all really. And no shoes that show ankles That's just my opinion. Seriously a jumper with jeans(No tight skinny jeans) and shoes that don't show ankles is PERFECT

Just my opinon, I hope I haven't offended anyone

    Not a fan of cardigans.

Tell him to go buy some proper (cheap) clothes right now lol.

If the girl is in to him and he's average+ looking, she won't mind much on what he wears.

Why not ask him to change trousers (black in particular)

    Maybe this?
That looks alright, but it would suit a guy who had a slightly more muscular figure.

And please please please for the love of God tell him that his belt better match his shoes.

    It looks incredible

Personally I would leave the trousers unrolled and cover the ankles, but this is my preference

No never go for the hoodie, it can give off a hobo vibe, keep it smart but sophisticated.

How about a nice leather jacket for this cold weather, simple yet classic:

Don't get me started on other additional stuff like a pea coat, and glasses to go along with it.

Agreed, the green socks are not a good look. Everything else is on point
