Where do you sleep??? That's not wise you know... Hard to justify the use of a knife in self defence and frankly vs a baseball bat it won't do you much good.
Eh uni house in Hatfield but it's just incase.

I eat cheese and crackers all the time. Think it's more justifiable than a baseball bat (which i don't own).

I sleep with my mixtape under my pillow so that if **** pops off I'll just throw it at the aggressor and watch them burn.

I certainly do, I keep it in my pants and often wake up with it fully loaded and my finger on the trigger

Eat cheese and crackers? What? Are you saying it is a butter-knife? LOL. Buy a base-ball bat sir :P

Anyhow, with a baseball bat you can target specific limbs. i.e. break an arm or break a leg or their hand if they have a weapon and you have more reach than a knife which is why it is more useful in a confrontation. With a knife if you're gonna use that there's a good chance of seriously seriously hurting the person because you're going to make them bleed a hell of a lot to start with, and then with that there's the risk of cutting into veins/arteries that you shouldn't have...
