Yet more example of how pollution is ruining the environment
Too true. And to make matters worse the fog traps in nearby pollution from motor vehicles, which can contribute to excessive pollution in towns and cities

I got it confused - it's smog that's affected by pollution, fog is natural

If you can prove this, record it for 40 days, I might convert

    Be happy
I will do, and you will be witnessing it yourself anyway.

Me too. But the more major signs are obvious and more apparent so much so we don't even realise it in our daily lives.
    I know we don't

You're right, but pollution-filled fog is equivalent to smog. I remember saying the believing the same things as you, but the BBC's weather explanation of fog changed my perception completely.

So there is currently some sinister other worldy fog engulfing us. Is it an alien life form targeting our airports?

I was attacked by it myself whilst out on my bike today. It was all sunny and warm like a summers day, not a cloud in the sky. Then out of nowhere I'm on busy main road that is dodgy for cyclist at the best of times caught in thick fog and no lights :eek3:

I got some good pictures though It was like being on a mountain top.

    Attachment 474757

That picture was taken from Ramsaw Rocks and the hill in the background is Henn Cloud (fitting name ). It's in the Peak District.

I'm sooooo happy with it it's so beautiful
    feels like autumn winter time
I actually decided to go outside for a walk around my block a million times cos I love it so much

It's been foggy here (Dundee) a lot recently. Can't remember the last time I drove across the Tay Bridge in the morning and there wasn't a warning sign.

I quite like fog. Not what it does to my hair though.
