Did anybody receive an acknowledgement email from Hull? I sent my UCAS on Thursday and Hull is the only university which hasn't sent me one.
    Thank you in advance!

I have an Unconditional Offer for English at Hull which I'm pretty sure I'm going to accept.

Just checked and I didn't receive an acknowledgement email either, so nothing to be worried about.

That's awesome! I've also applied for English. Do you know how long it took for them to offer you a place? It's the only university that hasn't got back to me yet

    Thanks

Think it took a few weeks for Hull to get back to me, so again no need to worry yet! Not sure if you've noticed but the course description for English on the uni website has changed recently, I prefer the new one though as I wasn't looking forward to Medieval Literature in the first year tbh! Also think Hull will be a great place for English will all the City of Culture events happening next year and all.

Mine went on Friday and I've not received an email yet :/ I guess we should receive one soon though so I wouldn't worry.

I have applied to do philosophy! And I hope to stay in the new accommodation too (let's hope they get it built in time!) May I ask what grades you got/are predicted to get an unconditional? I only sent my application on Friday but I already have enough ucas points. (Distinction* in btec art, Merit in btec media, B in a level religious studies, and a D in film) so fingers crossed I'll get an unconditional...

I achieved BBC (B in religious studies and sociology, and a C in psychology) I also have a D from AS law. I applied to go to uni last year but decided on results day that I would rather take a gap year. You have a really good chance of getting unconditional, good luck! I applied 2 weeks ago and only Hull has got back to me so far, but it's definitely my top choice

Aw thank you! That's reassuring to hear I've applied to a few different unis but I'm probably going to accept Hull over them anyway as I want to stay close to home
