I did, now I go to an all girls Catholic school :afraid:

My school offered a levels too  there were only 20 of us delusional enough to take the IB. Noooo I do OCR religious studies and it's great :awesome: aqa g and p is hell.
oh my gosh X'D what were you thinking?! :O
hmm i do OCR bio, chem and computing and it is HELL -_-
well computing theory is alright - coursework is hell
chemistry - OCR B - don't even talk about it omg... they don't even have a proper textbook you can actually read from front to back it's just a context book and a reference book 0_0
biology - toooo picky in exams, you can get an answer 100% right but if you don't say it the way they want then you get 0 ._. they contradict their OWN TEXTBOOK ffs! and it's missing parts of the spec out too! - which are in the CGP guide -_-

and i did physics AS - it's not even compatible with other examboards it's so **** -_-

I only did through friends and tbh, pretty much all of them are still just mutual friends who I only really speak to at parties or other social events.

I wouldn't say it's harder... some US Colleges also allow that advance with A-Levelz...
Having done both, I think it is harder. I didn't know that about a levels.

Really? Most students at my college are ex-IB students and they think A-Levels are so much harder. I guess it depends on the individual.

I thought I was up to the challenge -_-

How can they not include things in the textbook?!?! what do people who self teach it do? :/ have you had a look at Khan?

I know what you mean about questions; in IB physics the exact same question in different years would require a completely different answer for the marks.

Aspiring to do medicine, and I'm doing Biology, Chemistry and Physics and English Lit.
I understand how the sciences correspond but people find it weird that I took English instead of Maths.

Complete opposite of you. I did Bio, Chem, Phy, Maths, F.Maths and English Lang/Lit for AS and I just had an interview last week at Oxford for English. Decided to go with my gut feeling Good luck getting into medicine x

I'm starting university in 2016 after getting an unconditional offer from leicester with Geology, Geography and Art as my A levels.
I always got comments on how weird it is to mix Art with Earth science, and i was constantly paranoid that i would receive no offers, especially as so many earth science courses were looking for hard science subjects at A level, of which i had none.(i only applied to two courses in the end as i didn't meet the subject requirements for so many!)
Anyone else taken a mix of a levels people consider unorthodox? A mix of arts and sciences perhaps?
I do history, art and geology and im going to hopefully be studying geology at uni next year ;D

Maths and Further maths are complete ghosts to each other to me.

Got a handful mates that got A's in AS Maths and D's in Further Maths.

You should have given it a shot with other courses you might have liked.

You do realise if you had an amazing personal statement (like mine ) you can get offers above your AS grades, for example.

No. It's much harder. Some American unis allow you to go straight into second year if you have done the IB.
But Americans universities do an additional year of university compared to the UK; a first year where you don't specialise in anything......
