You are a person of no knowledge. Why would anyone want to go live in a place of danger, war and corrupt government? And you should take them because western countries had a tremendous amount to do with the conflicts
    (Original post by Camoron)
Why us? Why should we take them? Surely they would be better accustomed to life in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Somalia, Tunisia, Libya and many other countries where their religion is the rule of law

What are you talking about? He's a Christian and American-born.
Theres idiotic rumours going around for years now amongst the right in america that Barrack HUSSEIN obama is actually a muslim in disguise all along and his refusal to reveal his birth certificate means he is not actually american born.

It's near impossible that Trump could get into power. If nothing else, he's entirely lacking in the necessary charisma.
What are you talking about? Love him or hate him, he had more charisma than all the other candidates from both parties put together. Who has more? Hilary? She's a charisma vacuum.

Regarding the Syria conflict, can you tell us precisely what Germany, Sweden etc had to do with it? In fact, what did the UK do in this specific conflict to cause it? I know it's a mad concept, but not 100% of everything bad in the world was created by us.

Trump won't get elected, he'll be big on his ego right until the actual election night, but I refuse to believe that more than half of American voters will vote for him.

Racism aside, this man has never explained his policies.

Have you seen his twitter account? His tweets make him seem barely literate, it's quite the read.
What Trump has is a lot of money. He's near universally mocked for his dress sense and hair and at no point has he ever been a great or even good orator.

Bernie Sanders has the charisma that 'ol Donnie lacks. Not through simply being "cool" the way Obama is, Bernie seems to have charisma despite (or perhaps because of) not having any traits that would be deemed charismatic. He seems "genuine", as vague a word as that is. Above all else, he's been rightfully congratulated for his speech making. What's more, he seems to be well liked by the student population ,which is quite an achievement considering what a fickle and shallow bunch we are.

In this sense, he reminds me of Jeremy Corbyn, who may have seemed like the most unlikely successor after Milliband's resignation, but thanks to his skill at oratory and sound arguments, he is currently the leader of the Labour Party. Blimey, he may even convince me to vote for them instead of Green.

Well Germany and Sweden haven't been bombed have they? And because Germany took it upon their moral duty to help refugees. Germany is a example for these selfish discriminative countries. And asking what the UK had to do with the conflict is absurd. The U.K. - Iraq war, supporting of extremist rebels, funding of weapons into the Middle East, etc etc etc

    He has:

Among other things, including reducing foreign aid to Mexico:

"If Mexico doesn't agree to pay for the wall, Trump suggests increasing a number of fees, including those on temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats, border crossing cards and NAFTA worker visas from Mexico. He also proposes increases fees at ports of entry at the Mexican - United States border."

In this hypothetical situation however, provided that Trump follows up on his xenophobia and racism and then dials it up to eleven, there's not much we could do. However, more likely is that Trump in power would not adversely affect minority populations. Muslims may not be Europe's favourite people right now, but they're still human. If mistreated, the EU would speak up. Like it or not, if the US wants to remain friendly with Europe, it has to avoid pissing us off too much. And believe me, considering that the US is still at odds with Russia, remaining friendly with Europe should be at the very top of its priorities.

Glad someone worked this one out. "We were all humans until, race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us."

I think people vastly over estimate the power that one president can have. Think about how much of Obama's policy was blocked when he half of congress was against him, now picture both the Republicans and Democrats going against all of Trumps movements. There is simply no way that Muslims will be treated worse in the US.

The only thing Trump can feasibly do would be to implement harsher illegal immigration laws which would have 0 effect on muslims living legally in the US.

No, it won't.. anyway your claim was he didn't explain how he would make Mexico pay, when he did even if you don't like the plan

He is asking Mexico to pay billions of dollars for a wall with the threat of economic sanctions.

Guess what, Mexico will just establish stronger trade links with China, India, Russia.

The USA suffers economically, Trump performs poorly on the world stage, the USA is no longer a world superpower. Instead, its a massive leper colony for the thousands of people it has now bankrupted.

Do you know why loads of US companies go overseas? It's because Americans are lazy and want to work for high wages. The moment companies want higher profit, they go elsewhere. This is a problem, and Donald Trump is focusing on the wrong issues.
