Abstain, I've been to Oxford and it's a lovely city with a lot of history but there are also some bits which are just generic urban sprawl and shouldn't be included in a World Heritage Site. Amend this to restrict the designation to the historic/important parts and you'd have an aye.

An aye from me. Separately we should also consider UNESCOs Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Traditions of History which has nothing from these islands as far as I am aware.
Hear hear. Morris dancing and the wassailing traditions still carried out in some rural parts of the south-west spring to mind.

To be fair it is. An awful lot more deserving than Pontcysyllte Aqueduct as well (which is high and scary, fair play to it, but is it really deserving of World Heritage Site status?).

I still will not be able to bring myself to voting for Oxford though.
UNESCO sites don't have that high of a standard - in Mexico it feels like they've submitted everything and loads of unimpressive, small, not old, not well maintained 'cities' that are more like villages have been listed. I really don't see why Oxford shouldn't be listed, unless British culture is not to be cherished.
