Also the Air India bomb was supposed to blow up with no one on it whilst at Heathrow Airport. Since it was 30-45 minutes late it blew up in the ocean near Ireland.

As a SIkh, most of the extremism in our religion was at its height during the 1980s. As someone has shown, it stemmed mostly from this movement: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalistan_movement

Essentially, that the Sikh community should have it's own nation (Based in Punjab). So Sikhs often clashed with the Hindu led Government of India during that time. Already linked was this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_India_Flight_182 Prior to 9/11, the biggest terrorist incident involving aircraft by death count.

Also Indira Gandhi's assassination (In response to Operation Bluestar). If you're interested, this was probably the most prominent terrorist group linked at the time to Sikhism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babbar_Khalsa
    1. Not Terrorism, Revolutionary freedom fighting movement

    2. Indian Government were directly involved with that tragic incident

    3. Indra Gandhi was a witch. Babbar Khalsa again is not a terrorist organisation.

I only make the distinction of 'Hindu led' as that was who the militants at the time had most issue with. Religion was the major catalyst at the time for much of what happened and so I felt it was prudent to highlight that.
It was nothing to do with religion. It was the sikhs against the unjust system that does not recognise the rights of minorities.

"Indra and Congress have labelled me a terrorist. If getting Sikhs to take Amrit and stay away from drugs, alcohol, meat, abstain from trimming their hair and beards, defending the honour of our sisters and spilling the blood of the Shaheeds is the work of a terrorist, then yes, I am a terrorist."

Interesting that Babbar Khalsa is labelled a terrorist organisation yet Shiv Sena a group which marches with guns in India and have camps on how to kill muslims and christians are still not a terrorist organisation.

Shiv sena represent a 'hindu'* right wing fanatical group. Therefore the majority of the population is not threatened by their activities.

What's even more interesting is that at shiv sena demonstrations, the authorities stand back whilst they attack innocent minorities in plane view.
And when the minorities fight back, the police join the side of shiv sena and fight against the minorities.
    * not all Hindus (maybe even the majority) do NOT support the shiv sena terrorist group.

Now a prominent Sikh figure has been gunned down in Pakistan by a branch of the Taliban, who said that "these activities will continue until implementation of an Islamic system in Pakistan"

Yeh, seen this. Sad to see before muslims and sikhs lived peacefully at some point in history.
