"From a young age I have always been..." What not to write in your PS watch

No. I used a unique opening statement which contradicts my degree choice, basically asking rhetorically which subject I should study in my degree. I then stated that I was previously unsure of the answer and explained why I'd come to realise that the correct course of action was to abandon the question entirely and take both subjects.

    I came across this once:

"I would describe myself as a T-shaped individual; someone with a deep passion for microbiology with other interests spanning out from microbiology"

None of these in mine either. To be fair I had to write a REALLY badass personal statement because I had little in the way of education past GCSEs. Got into uni based on "outstanding non academic achievements"

Also, it's not a good idea to include that anecdote about setting fire to your pyjamas at the age of eight...

Unless you're applying for BA Fire-starting, in which case they'll be impressed with your interest in arson from a young age!

I'm surprised I ever got into University, my personal statement must have been pretty unique in terms of its introduction.

My entire first paragraph was a recounting of what a lazy, uninspired and poor student I had been during my time at school (I'm deadly serious!). True, I was just trying to set the scene, to demonstrate how I had matured in my older years and how I'd grown into a suitable applicant. However, looking back, I cannot believe I ever took that gamble.

Still I must have done something right, I received offers from three of my five choices, and that was without a single UCAS point to my name!

No it is something about fashion being more than about clothes but being about life.

    Found it

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."
