Mine always say "As long as you've done your best, thats all that matters." when I get stressed over revision or do badly on a test. If I get a crap grade, then I clearly haven't done my best have I?

Today I got from my mum "nobody who works as hard as you do wouldn't get three B's" (my firm uni is BBB, I got BBCC at AS and stressing about meeting the offer)

Erm, do you even know what A Levels are, mum?

A new survey by the National Citizen Service (NCS) has revealed these as the top 10 worst things your parents could say or do during revision time.

Agree? Have your parents said anything that's not on the list that is definitely a big no no?

Top 10 worst things parents could say or do during revision period

    1. "Shouldn’t you be revising?” (52%)

    2.“Just do your best” (34%)

    3. “Can you really think with that music on?” (27%)

    4. “How can you work with all those screens on?” (23%)

    5. “If you’ve put in the time you’ll be ok“ (19%)

    6. Confiscate your mobile phone (19%)

    7. “Exams are so much easier these days” (15%)

    8. Saying things like “Is that YouTuber really helping with your revision” (13%)

'Why are you even going to do this subject at University when you're finding it hard now?'

No–one can have such unsupportive, strict, and restricting parents other than myself.

Ehh I don't let them get involved anymore, because of this. But, they keep saying how it's easy and stuff even though I'm now pulling an all-nighter at least once a week.

hah. I had similar from my mum. "Are you really going to apply for a PhD and put yourself through all this stress again?" referring to my master's work.

This came about three days after her rant of "you're so lazy, all you do is sit around all day doing nothing." Yeah.. glad a 20k word research project is "nothing"

It should be BhagwanNiBhool because it's a feminine sound, but I don't know how to spell my own name :cry2:

    BhagwanNaBhool would imply a collective
