Some people will mock it in a jokey manner, aka friends etc. I just put it down to their lack of understanding on how painful it can be for a guy in their early 20's to go bald. Weirdly enough a lot of older bald guys will to the same.(Original post by Jd_uk)
Yeah you're fortunate in that respect. Did you meet your girlfriend while you were bald or before? You seem to have a good attitude to it anyway. It just frustrates me so much that people (e.g. that girl i mentioned) can be rude enough to actually come up and mock me for having a shaved head. People definitely treat me differently to when i had hair. Are you a tall guy btw?
I do get a few comments, but many guys around my age who are also balding have been really positive. One even said he wished he had the courage to shave his hair too as he really should do soon. Most friends and friends of friends have been really positive too, there is a specific group that made EDL or Ukrainian national front jokes, but then commented on how in certain clothing I looked much better than before. One common subject is how bald guys do need to be much more careful dressing, but when you pull something off, you will pull it off really well.
I'm 5'11 and more skinny than muscle tbh.
And actually passed?
