Was that second graph transformation stretch in x direction scale factor 1/3 ? The 9 in the root changing to a 1 confused me :/
I put stretch in y sf 1/3 I had no idea 😂

Did anyone get k (in the translation question) as 5.5?
not 6.5?

yeah it was 5.5, all you do is put replace x with x-k in your equation for the normal

Anyone get -1648 as the coefficient of x^10?
Yh i think so deffo something like that i cant remember exactly though
9. How did anyone work out the coefficient of x^10? I don't understand 😭

Yeah I got -1648😊 What did people get for the last logs question?
12. for K i got 13.5....

and the tranformation was a stretch in y SF 3?

because powers when multiplies together add up I just found all the possible factors of 10 which were:

X^5 X^5
X^6 X^6
X^7 X^3

5+5=10
6+4=10
7+3=10

so all other numbers can be ignored. put the brackets next to eachother and multiplies them out to get: -1648x^10

I got something around 3000!
16. The binomial question and the 8th one where they asked for cosx thing are the only one where i think i may loose marks as i am not sure on them however i think the rest of it went pretty good.
17. Arc in triangle question? I got 10.32, everyone I talked to used the same method as me but got different answers 0.o

I also got 10.3 but realised I've forgotten to add on the arc length to the perimeter so I think the answer should be around 13 ish or something

Don't remember the answer but the method i used was to half the area of triangle and then use that to find radius by the area of sector then subbed r into equation of arc length then found perimeter. It was an easy 6 marks. and i did get radius in decimal so the answer was in decimal as well

Equate 1/2 r^[email protected] to half of the total area, get r, and then calculate the arc. Subtract r from the sides and add 5 and the arc.
