"views alien to the liberal west." You're gonna have to explain these views please for me to understand your point.

By any chance, do you support Donald Trump. Because your views and phrases are so similar to his... Think we're zeroing in on the problem here.

What is your view on Trump's banning of Muslims entering the US?

The world would be a better place if Muslims and the west sat down and worked together, But the west like America fake things and provoke things and some 'Muslims' are drawn into this unsurprisingly tbh.

I could go on and on and on. The west are frightened by Islam's exponential growth. They fear it and try to act by spewing hatred. It won't work. Islam is the religion of peace if you follow it. If you blow up a person or isis style, you're not a Muslim.

My hope is that Islam can sit down with these western countries and solve issues. I agree with Corbyn on this point. Find out what on Earth it is Isis want. Talk to them. Be reasonable. (I am not against nuking the **** out of them if it saves us though)
Thanks for proving my point about label by labelling me an idiot in the first sentence of your reply.

I used the word 'our' shores as a collective, meaning me and you.

I'm not sure if you are a muslim, but the more I read the Quran the more I fear Islam. I was speaking to a muslim in private messaging today, and found out that they believe homosexuals should be killed, because the Quran says so. That is one view that is alien to the west.

The surpression of women's rights is another, the actions advocated towards 'kafirs' is another, the actions towards apostates another, and the increased risk of sexual assault that Islam brings with it. Source? Rotheram, Rochdale, Sweden, Germany?

Islam is a religion of peace? Try telling that to the vicitms of Islamic terrorism.

These aren't Hindus or Sikhs going around doing this, there is one common denominator.

I'll repeat, of course all Muslims aren't doing this, but a significant minority allow/perpetuate these attitudes.

I felt physically sick when the muslim I was speaking to earlier told me their belief that homosexuals should be killed. I knew the Quran's teachings on the matter, but it still shocked me nonetheless.

So Islam is a religion of peace you say? Tell that to the homosexuals being killed in Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries, simply because they take the Quran in its literal form.

I hope we can create a dialogue with Muslims, in an attempt to reform the religion, similar to what Christianty went through. However, some of the Muslims I have come into contact on this site only perpetuate my beliefs. Not all, some.

What are your opinions on Wahhabi/Salafists?

Last time I checked, Islam was a belief, not a race.

Given that it is a belief, if people disagree with what that belief teaches, and the values that it instils on its followers, then those people should be allowed to voice their criticism of said belief. This is not Saudi Arabia.

People shouldn't be labelled as racists or bigots for disagreeing with what a faith teaches either. I agree that people who say broad statements like 'all muslims are terrorists' are obviously idiots. But I can't disagree with anyone that says Islam teaches that woman are below men, and it is something that has been ingrained into Islamic culture as a result.

I hate that people think religions should be a holy bastion that no one can criticise. Everyone is quick to dismiss and laugh at Scientology as a faith (quite correctly), I don't see why the mainstream religions should be an exception.

    edit:

Just saw your post above this one.

-Suggesting 9/11 has to be an inside job because America has the aid of Jesus, and he didn't stop it.
-Suggesting Sadam Hussain was in innocent man.
-Suggesting the leader of DAESH is Jewish.

Disregard my comment, I'm not interested in hearing anything you have to say, as you're clearly a total imbecile. The exact type of Muslim that makes rational people question your faith/culture.
"But I can't disagree with anyone that says Islam teaches that woman are below men, and it is something that has been ingrained into Islamic culture as a result." You moronic imbecile. You, like all the other cocky white's, think you know what Islam says!!!! IT SAYS NOTHING OF THE SORT YOU IDIOT AHAHHAHA! IT STATES CLEARLY THAT MEN AND WOMEN ARE EQUAL BUT STATES DIFFERENCES IN THEIR ABILITY AS WOMEN ARE MORE FRAGILE. THAT IS COMMON SENSE NEVER MIND ISLAM. WHERE DOES YOUR BS COME FROM?!?!?!?!!

"Given that it is a belief, if people disagree with what that belief teaches, and the values that it instils on its followers, then those people should be allowed to voice their criticism of said belief. This is not Saudi Arabia." Imbecile. So why is it that Muslims clearly have problems with your lifestyle as well but if we raise our points we are accused and I mean ACCUSED of pushing Shariah law but for you white's it's ok??? Douchebag

"-Suggesting 9/11 has to be an inside job because America has the aid of Jesus, and he didn't stop it.-Suggesting Sadam Hussain was in innocent man.-Suggesting the leader of DAESH is Jewish."PROVE IT. IF YOU THINK IT'S RUBBISH THEN PROVE IT. GO ON. REAL, FACTUaL EVIDENCE. PROVE IT. MY INFORMATION IS BOTH BELIEFS AND TRUE FACTS FROM ARTICLES (will try and find tomorrow for you, if I don't "disregard your comment").You're an idiot, nothing more. Because I have doubts about the cause of particular fatalities, you believe something is wrong with Islam? WHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT?????"Last time I checked, Islam was a belief, not a race." Wow you checked lel

"I hate that people think religions should be a holy bastion that no one can criticise. Everyone is quick to dismiss and laugh at Scientology as a faith (quite correctly), I don't see why the mainstream religions should be an exception." Explain why it is ok then for white's to criticise Muslims but Muslim's cannot do it back without an UPROAR? No denial needed. TSR is just the first place to look.

You are a soul which has been engulfed by the media's tales of withering injustice and believe what is there. The media **** with you mate. Go to these countries and see for yourself. If you make it back alive that is from all the bombs America is dropping on them and Jews too

I'm not going to bother replying to you after this message, because either you have never read the Quran or are so deluded as to believe your own nonsense.

You have the cheek to call me racist? Check the bold above, you pretentious pr**k.

When the working classes are the ones feeling the brunt end of this stuff, I wouldn't expect a privately educated person who clearly lives in a middle class area to understand. You don't feel the consequences as much as everyone else.

Am not gonna converse with you argumentatively but rather attempt to express some views.

"The surpression of women's rights is another, the actions advocated towards 'kafirs' is another, the actions towards apostates another, and the increased risk of sexual assault that Islam brings with it. Source? Rotheram, Rochdale, Sweden, Germany?" The Quran clearly states that Men and Women are equal but evidently points out that Women should be treated with care as they are more fragile in their structure. If you really read the Quran, you would understand that.

Yes. I am a Muslim and proud.

Never heard of the killing homosexual thing. The belief that one can gain knowledge of Islam just by reading the Quran I find amusing. You need evidence from Hadith, Islamic lectures, prophets stories to understand the Quran and the true meaning of the Quran and the uses of these verses and Surah's

"So Islam is a religion of peace you say? Tell that to the homosexuals being killed in Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries, simply because they take the Quran in its literal form." Never heard of that? But why would you go to a Muslim country and be able to be identified as a homosexual? That is literally asking for trouble like Jeremy Clarkson style.

"I hope we can create a dialogue with Muslims, in an attempt to reform the religion, similar to what Christianty went through. However, some of the Muslims I have come into contact on this site only perpetuate my beliefs. Not all, some." I agree. I agree that some views can be disturbing but this is life and everyone has different views.

"What are your opinions on Wahhabi/Salafists?" What do you mean? You're gonna have to be quite specific becasue again, Islam states NOTHING about Sunni an Shiah. We're actually told not to label ourslevs as either as there is no mention of either in the Quran...

I think peasant was used as a joke.
Anyway, I agree with you. There is a very sick minority that needs to be dealt with, but not on TSR. Nothing will ever happen on TSR, if you know someone who might be a part of this minority, either talk to your local MP about it or talk to the police. Otherwise, I don't think making a thread about is helping
I've tried to dialogue with Muslims on here, the majority don't seem interested, perhaps its because its a sensitive issue, I can understand that.

I don't come on TSR to socialise. I don't come on TSR to spread hate.

I come on here to learn, understand and communicate about the issues that matter most to society. Islam is, and will be inextricably tied to current affairs for the forseeable future.

If I can make Muslim friends on here fantastic. I have already learnt much about Islam from my short time on here, there are fantastic parts of its culture, the art, the poetry, the architecture and the music. But, like with every culture, there are less savoury parts that concern me deeply, particularly as my family and friend have suffered immensley from these less savoury parts.

    Someone's raging hohohohohohohohooooooooooo

Someone is also jealous because they living outside a dumpster... I don't need to prove to you my family's wealth but I am grateful for us being well-off and have enough to be able to give charity. That's all that matters to me. If you're materialistic then good for you.

Ahahahaha and who exactly is feeling the brunt end of this stuff then?
My sister who has attempted to commit suicide numerous times because she was groomed and sexually abused by a muslim.

My other sister who was racially abused and has been intimidated by gangs of muslims.

My friend who was stalked by a muslim migrant and now fears leaving the house after dark.

These are not isolated scenarios. Many girls have suffered similar fates at an increasing rate since the 'migrant crisis'.

Thankfully the majority of muslims do not support this, but a significant minority help perpetuate these ideas by lack of action or apathy.

You really are a nasty piece of work, you wouldn't last a week in other people's shoes.

Money can't buy class, you are a prime example.

    Yet, you replied...

On a serious note, I am disgusted. Absolutely vile to hear that. I am disgusted to my heart and mouth. My full sympathy towards your sister, I hope she is able to recover from this. Obviously I can go on and say not all are like this but I presume that's not appropriate at a time like this. Instead, I apologise on thier behalf. Their attitude seems vile and that is not Islamic or Muslim behaviour at all. As a proper Muslim, I apologise for her. I hope you support her and assure her everything she needs in her times of need?

I could last in anyone shoes. I do not boast about class at all. I merely said that I don't need to show you this and you started it may I also reminded you. I also do not need to prove you my social class and hierarchy.

Honest question without a bias reply pls: Do you live in an underdeveloped area in Britain? This is not common things for me to hear about sins like this from 'Muslims'. How old is your sister? Not rally my place but should she be aloud out herself? If she is old enough then I cannot see how she would resort to these emotionally unsettling ways to end her life and misery due to the torment she experiences. Motivate her to prsevere on.

I hope everyone was as open minded as you are. Just be careful with the sources of information. There are books written on Islam by left wingers and right wingers, trust me reading them will be much more productive to you than just listening to people with free time on their hands either defending or attacking Islam.
Here's one by a Muslim scholar (Harvard guy I think)
No God but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam
    It argues for Islam.

Here is a good book against Islam:
    Infidel: My Life
Written by an Ex-Muslim. Those two books I think offer the best perspectives you may get on the issue.

I am sorry for those unfortunate events, but why do you think other Muslims are responsible? I mean, I would understand if the police had shown lack of action or apathy, but why blame other Muslims? I am sure if other Muslims actually turned out to hide information about those criminals, they'd have been jailed too.

    The empathy is appreciated.

I have not seen my sister smile at me in over 10 years, she clearly hasn't recovered her ordeals.

I live in a working class area in the North, if that's what you mean by underdeveloped.

You see, from your view I understand now why you would hate Muslims. It's ok if you don't hate them but I would tbh. People need to realise that they are not Muslims though. They themselves must realise their sin too.

I live in the North too. Working class too I would say I guess? Parents own a business and many properties so dunno what that comes under?

Thanks for the books you provided, I'll certainly take a look.

I don't blame all Muslims, not for one second. If I blamed all Muslims, I wouldn't have Muslim friends.

My criticsm on this website is only ever directed at Islam or politicians. It is never directed at Muslims as a whole. I am critical of some areas of the Quran, and the acts of Muhammed that by today's western standards are morally wrong.

But I don't hate Muslims my friend. Far from it. I have two French Muslim friends that I make an effort to go and see once a year.

I am critical of some of the teachings of the Quran. This is the reason I visit this website. To learn more about Islam and Islamic societies.

As I said, I wish more people were as open minded/intelligent as you are. Others in your situation would have acted much worse. Anyway, read those books, there are more bitter books against Islam and there are more defensive ones for Islam. I, by the way, despise it as an ideology, but can't help but feel sorry for those who were born into Muslim families.
